Quiz Night

Many thanks to all at the White Horse last night for making our team welcome at the Quiz, such a wonderful bunch of guys, and the rest of you weren't bad either.

Our somewhat lowly position in the result should not be construed as a poor performance as we did not want to show up our hosts, and held back somewhat.

After all had we scored 100% (as we could have done) we might not get asked back next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and as as always had been looking forward to it for some time.

As Bob says a really good night had by all, I think there were 9 teams in total. The 2 marshals teams (each of 3 people) came 2nd & 3rd with scores of 83 & 84. Could not get near the score of the winners who we think should have success ballast in future.

Thanks to all at the pub for fitting us in even though refurbishment work was going on.
