Today they tested at Paul Ricard (official test).

Doubt it, if you leave the RB programme you have to wear their helmets for 5 years

No , redbull anyway normally pays only part of the bill , redbull drivers have to find extra sponsors.

When you are laid off the junior program you still have to wear the RedBull Helmet and no backing

The junior program is always a bit weird. Gasly was 'out of it' (no redbull helmet and livery) for one year as well in 2.0 when he became champion, year before and after was/is RB-Junior..

But.... Looks like Verhagen is going to be the next RB-Junior at Tech1 that is going for the title, pretty fast end of the year and on the pace during tests...

LavidaLoca I kew that you had to come up with extra backing when you were under contract with Red Bull Junior Team, as they do not pay the whole bill. It is first I hear that when you get a boot from the programme the advert on the lid is not being paid for?! I thought, that after you leave Junior Team, Red Bull will pay for that helmet sticker? But, one could ask, what is a point signing with Red Bull Junior Team? You never know when you get kicked out, and than you have carry that sticker on your helmet. Thanks for reply tho.

that was the case with the likes Dilmann,Coletti,Piscopo but not sure if it is still the case as for instance Sette Camarra helmet was 2016 Redbull Junior and he is not wearing Redbull Logo anymore on his helmet
