BMMC Training @ Rockingham

Next years event which is open to all Marshals, will be at Rockingham on Sunday January 21st.

Volunteering form is on the BMMC South Mids & Rockingham websites.

Or contact the Training Officer - Elaine Brice via email: Elaine.brice@btinternet.com

Training Signatures

I have recently been informed that Training Module Upgrade signatures on paperwork other than a P.R.C. are not valid. Attendees in 2017 where given such a piece of paper, if anybody is wishing to upgrade and need PRC signatures to replace the said paper, please send the P.R.C, the paper and a S.A.E to me & I will return promptly or alternatively it can be done @ the 2018 event. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Elaine

We have a good list of racers looking to support the Mockingham Race element of the training day again.

Having been involved with the BMMC SM training day at Rockingham for a number of years, my [completely!!] unbiased view is that it is consistently one of the best around.

Theory modules in the morning, followed by practical in the afternoon, with full races involving actual race cars - resulting in a realistic training day experience.

If you are looking at somewhere new to try for your 2018 training, you should put this one at top of your list and you don't need to be a BMMC member to take part.

Wow, the best one yet.
Mega thanks to Elaine for organising it, the drivers for 'playing' and most of all to you the Marshals for joining in.
In some ways the weather made it even more interesting than we had planned.

Apologies for the delay before the racing started, but as i'm sure you will agree safety was paramount and we needed to ensure the track was safe for everyone.

Please get your evaluation forms back to Elaine asap as that's what secures the funding forfuture events.

Really enjoyable day yesterday , despite the weather. Having the 'simulated' races was a great idea.
