I think that Andy Clarkin, who suffered a puncture, inadvertantly touched Chris Crockett at Paddock Hill Bend.

Nice to see you got the Prelude out in the first race after all, Rod! Must have been quite a speedy job to get the manifold back in, coupled with all the gubbins. Well done!
We were worried that you were wearing a groove in the pitlane tarmac with all the pacing up and down |

There are a couple of Open Formula Saloons races at the Formula Ford Festival at Brands on the 19/20th October. This is a non Championship event and is open to any Saloon that can do anything better than a 55.9 sec lap.
There will be 1 20 min qualifying session and 2 24lap races so anyone interested please contact either the BRSCC or myself through this site. |

Thanks for the encouragement Chris, the team managed it with two minutes to spare (not good, causes too many grey hairs!!!)It was nice to meet some of the other boys and girls who appear on the forums.
Incidentally the two new Formula Saloon recruits, namely Peter Thurston and Mike Watson enjoyed themselves and said they will be back for more. It would be nice to get a few more Alfas to join in,particularly in class C. |

With regard to Formula Saloons at the F.F. festival the entry fee will come down if we can get over 19 to go. So the more that enter the cheaper the fee.

Do you have to have a National A race licence to take part in this particular race.
Also when are the races, all on the one day, one on each etc etc? By the way it was nice to see the lap times of the Vectras and Rover Turbos, they are not that far off the rest of the field. |
