Help from the forum if poss, can we pin point when Will Gollop changed livery from Mobil to Silkolene? sometime through a season or at the start, it will assist with future uploads and a confusing series

The red/blue livery was there until the end of the 1987 season. Perhaps he changed it to the red/gold/black at the Grand Prix, but in any case at the first round of 1988 Gollop is sporting the 'silkolene' livery.

Yep I did presume that was the case but I'm sure I've seen events early 88 in the Mobil colours there is another chap I've asked still waiting to find out, it's all leading to a very strange way of championship title for winners with the dates and time of the events.

Bit late sorry but yes event was held mid December 87 not sure exact date filmed over a weekend but it was aired early part of 88 hence the confusion over colour scheme and being declared champion. Tecnically Will was champion of 87 but shown 88 Strange if I recall correctly..
