1. Hamilton will be WDC again.
2. Vettel will be second again. 3. Mercedes will win the WCC again. 4. Ferrari will be runner-up in the WCC again. 5. I think Riccardio will beat Verstappen in the Red Bull team, but only just. It'll be tight. 6. They'll be two wet weather races this season. 7. Kimi will retire by the end of the season, and Verstappen will take his place at Ferrari. 8. The French Grand Prix at Paul Ricard will burn the retinas of everyone's eyes as those multi coloured run-off areas are too colourful! 9. The Honda engine will be terrible - again. Many blow-ups predicted. 10. Martin Brundle will say : "An F1 car is like an upside down aeroplace wing with all its downforce" 3 times over this season. 11. I think that Bottas will win 4 times over the season. |

1. Ricciardo will win a non-attritional race.
2. Vettel will win his 5th WDC. 3. Bottas will not retain his Mercedes seat. 4. Leclerc will show flashes, but ultimately be given a second year at Sauber, with Kimi staying at Ferrari into 2019. 5. There will be a complete overreaction on a wet race, with multiple unnecessary red flag periods, causing outrage from the drivers, especially Lewis, who gets on the radio and says "just let us race man". 6. There will be a 'near miss' saved by the halo, causing it to be publicly praised by Jean Todt. 7. Alonso will not win a race, but finish second a couple of times. 8. Ericsson will be closer to Leclerc than expected. 9. Ocon will outscore Perez. 10. Sainz and Hulkenberg will be the most exciting teammate battle of the year on track. |

1. Max Verstappen will be a title contender.
2. The Halo will be questioned, probably its use could have a contradiction about his pros, specially about his cons. 3. Mercedes superiority will be adamant, despite Red Bull and Ferrari rivalries. 4. Honda will have a brilliant season with Toro Rosso. 5. Red Bull could make a Honda move for 2019 even during the season. 6. At least one world champion will retire this season. 7. We could have a Brazilian driver during the season, even as a Friday practice driver. 8. We could see a F1 driver swapping to Formula E, or backwards also. 9. Robert Kubica could have his chance to do, at least, one more F1 race. 10. Lando Norris will debut in F1 with McLaren throughout this year. |

2. Mercedes will be the only team to not incur engine penalties for using too many engines (but only with one car) 3. Alonso will get at least one podium 4. Raikkonen and Bottas will collide at least once 5. Sauber will be last in the championship 6. Williams will be next to last (very sad!) 7. A driver will be trapped in his car by the halo 8. Verstappen will win 3 races 9. I'll run out of ideas before I get to 10. |

01. Hamilton will be crowned the 2018 World Champion.
02. Bottas will just pip Vettel to finish second in the championship. 03. Mercedes will win the constructor's championship, naturally - but Red Bull will finish second! 04. Ricciardo and Verstappen will have a close fight all year, both winning races. 05. The stars will align and Alonso will finish a race on the podium. 06. Ocon and Perez will give Force India more crash related headaches this year. 07. Haas will score a surprise podium. 08. Gasly will win the internal Toro Rosso fight. 09. Both Sauber drivers will score points. 10. Someone will flip. For real this time, not half-baked like Wehrlein last year |

1. Vettel WDC by a small margin after a Merc engine failure because they keep running it to the extreme in quali. Everyone undeservedly hates on Vettel just like they did Nico... who continues to undeservedly get hated on because he hasn't dropped off the planet.
2. Bottas disappoints Merc enough for them to sign Ocon for 2019 before seasons end. Then Bottas wins a race and Ocon crashes into Perez. 3. Kimi fails to win a race again, but takes pole for Monaco. Much like Schumi's last season. Oh and another year goes by with the world still in the dark over Schumi's condition. 4. Leclerc trounces Ericsson but Ferrari are still too pu--y to replace Kimi, who stays with the team until 2025 before it's revealed he was in a gay "daddy-issues" relationship with Arrivabene. Both are fired. 5. Alonso wins WEC races, but fails to take the title, it's another season of battling over 7th in F1. Hartley beats him in Australia but Fred plays it down and starts talking about the the Indy 500. 6. Honda are more reliable than Renault, with Gasly and Hartley good solid drivers re-signing for 2019. Hartley says "I'm just enjoying life and having a good time" while taking bicycling holiday photos with his cute gf. 7. Sirotkin beats Stroll in points, but finish 2nd to last in Constructors. The media continue to harp on about Kubica who finally disappears after not getting the drive in 2019. He tries FE, re-united with his old team mate, but isn't quick enough anymore. 8. The Verstappen/Ricc relationship sours after another incident of aggressive driving from MV resulting in Ricc in the gravel and Ricc sick of being beaten by a team mate. But nowhere else to go so he stays at RB another season for 2019. 9. Both RB drivers win at least 1 race but the Renault is an unreliable POS by seasons end and Verstappen runs his mouth worse than Alonso. He's ****ed that Ocon gets the 2019 Merc seat... which blossoms into a big 2020's decade of rivalry to match Prost/Senna and helps F1 stay relevant. 10. I barely watch the Japanese GP because Bathurst is far more exciting, which SM wins by the way but has the T8's all over his ass. He joins the Nascar programme in 2019. Dummybrell screws up JW's Bathurst race. Last edited by Razzzor; 21 Mar 2018 at 21:41. |

1. Hamilton will be WDC
2. Vettel will win more races 3. Ricciardo will be the better Red Bull driver. 4. Mclaren will be beaten by Toro Rosso 5. Alfa Romeo will catch Williams by the end of the season 6. Perez and Ocon will be allowed to race each other in Melbourne, but not beyond that. 7. Haas will be a regular Q3 team 8. Both Raikkonen and Alonso retire after this one. 9. Alonso's Toyota will retire during the night at Le Mans with some sort of problem. 10. Halo will become a common and widely excepted driver excuse for any form of incident on track Last edited by marcel82; 22 Mar 2018 at 09:29. |

1. Bottas will more races than in 2017, but will still be replaced for 2019.
2. Raikkonen wins at least one race. 3. Both Sainz and Hulkenberg (finally) will get a podium finish this year 4. A Red Bull car will be disqualified from the race results 5. Ericsson will score at least one point 6. Perez will score more points than Ocon 7. McLaren will finish in the top 5 in the Constructors Championship 8. There will be a winner who does not drive for Mercedes, Ferrari or Red Bull. |

As usual, the following do not even necessarily represent the views of this poster, but I have more fun with it if I stick my neck out.
1. Vettel will win the championship. 2. But Hamilton will have more wins. 3. A driver will be replaced at least once (it always seems to happen!). 4. Alonso will win a race. 5. Red Bull will only win one race. 6. Williams will be last in the championship. 7. Renault will beat Force India. 8. Leclerc will score at least a point on at least 4 occasions. 9. Both Ben Edwards and David Croft will continue to say "Lights out and away we go". 10. I will look back at the end of the season and spot that two or three of these were right. |
