Toro Rosso - a result beyond their (and Honda's) wildest dreams.

Toro Rosso.
By the way, Honda engines look better than the Renaults. I wonder if McLaren screwed another season... |

Mercedes. Great damage limitation, considering Lewis's grid penalty. Good to see McLaren finish in 7th and 8th.

I am heading with Mercedes too. It would have been Torro Rosso if both cars had finished in the points, but they didn't (though i admit that 10 second penalty was a bit harsh)

Toro Rosso. I'm going to take Hartley's penalty out of the equation a bit here. After that, they appeared to maximise their result.
They do blow a bit hot and cold depending on the circuit. I wonder if this upgrade is the sign of more consistent performances. |

STR for sure.
honorable mention to Haas as well. after the last race big turn around in their pit stops doing particularly well with keeping Grosejean's car alive and cleaned up so that he could finish the race. the small teams really shined here and im just really happy to see that. |

Toro Rosso, obviously.
But man, what are Williams doing? Their results and pace was equally bad as Torro Rosso's results and pace was fantastic. And rather unexpected, Ferrari was quicker than Mercedes. Did not see that coming. |

Vettel only managed 7th fastest lap..... behind Raikkonen! Sirotkin was 8th 0.1 slower than Vettel. Stroll was 17th, a second slower than serge. In between the Mercs and Fezzas were Grosjean Alonso and KMag in that order |

I don't think ferrari were planning a 1-stop-race. given fresh tyres for Vettel, and a full GP for Kimi, ferrari would probably have been closer to the top of the fastest laps

Certainly not Mercedes.
It took them so long to understand what Ferrari/Vettel was up to that when they did it was too late to react. Torro Rosso for me. |

Ferrari. Locked out the front row, would have had a 1-2 if they hadn’t fumbled the pit stop. But got Vettel the result he needed.
