Porsche Tapiro
Don't know if there is written about the Tapiro here, but there is a VERY important remark to ALL journalist and people who have written about this concept car.
There is no "Spanish industrialist" about WHO was the owner of that beauty. Because the main owner of this car, is none other (and none less) than the acclaimed composer, high-skying producer, the pop orchestral master, the Argentinian musician Waldo de los Rios!!!
And he suffered an explosion of this car in ... about 1973 when he drove it in Spain. Waldo has intentions to restore the car, but after his death, and after the depression/desperation of his widow who was embezzled stripping it from her hands, the car was smuggled and went back to Giugiaro's hands, who put it as a "sculpture".
A Warning for Giugiaro: Waldo's widow is so close to people that better has to be respected. I suggest carefully the car must be restored to Isabel's hands...
The car, in fact, was later concept of the DeLorean DMC-12, one if their previous designs.
