Still dont know why the series is messing around with Facebook/Oscaro streaming. Not everyone has a Facebook account and ive never been able to watch the Oscaro stream. There sometimes is a private stream on Youtube but it wasn't available today.

Finally managed to watch both races.

They need to keep Slovakia Ring in 2019 calendar, first circuit with proper overtaking opportunities and it truly delivered great spectacle with 3 cars abreast.

Get him in a Honda, then comment.

The Alfa has the joint lowest weight, and joint highest engine power and the circuit favours high-speed. If you missed race 3, the Alfa's where lucky that half the field took each other out at the start.

With a manufacturer backing and with a proper testing programme, Giovanardi would easily fight for the championship

If you have any doubts just see what Tarquini is doing. Great drivers from a past era, but they are still on in this game

The Giulietta needs a lot of development, team Mulsanne is doing a good joob. I have the fear that the car is inferior to the others but let's wait and see by the end of the year. In a circuit that suit it better, Gio and Ceccon showed a good pace. Race 3 was very lucky for both but the week end was good for them.

Big difference between Tarquini and Giovanardi is that Tarquini never stopped racing. He's been at it non stop, while Giovanardi has been away for several years. If he's as good as you say he is why isn't he running for one of the big teams?

Firstly because he wasn't so active in these years, the big teams wanted someone ready to win without any risk.

However there are drivers that were already part of a manufacturer before the WTCR, so esentially they were only relocated in some of the customer team. For example I think at Monteiro (who is not racing) Lessens and Guerrieri for Honda or the Audi drivers like Vervisch and Berthon.

I'm not saying that Gio is actually the best of all, but surely he would play hugely better than a Filippi in the Seat team, with all the respect for Filippi

A lot of drivers has sponsors, Gio not. Credit to Mulsanne who believe in him, he's a fast and aggressive driver and he is doing a good job in the team to devolp the Giulietta. He was better than Morbidelli in the Alfa, and Gianni proved to be one of the quickest in TCR in the last seasons...

Tell me the name of a touring car champion that forgot how to drive or to win...

Gio also had weird track record in the past

2010 he did first BTCC round and won 2 races and was leading the tables but then was axed

if I remember he did a round in V8 superstars in a Porsche , won a race but no seat again...

won the ETCC Trophy with the Hartmann Honda Accord but again no offers came to him

then he finally got a seat in BTCC with Motorbase and it just didn't pan out with that NGTC car , on the other hand Alain Menu didn't fare that much better either

and now Gio finally has a firm seat but the car is a bit of a lemon

the BTCC Alfa also proved to be a lemon so far...

The problem in my opinion with the Alfa is that they are starting with a design that is 4 to 8 years older than the other cars out there.

Never understood why HMS didn't go for the Giulia, RWD, yes its big but so is the Avensis.

Pretty sure TCR regulations only allow FWD.

I think that the car actually has a very good engine without considering the bop.
It has a short base, so it should be quick in the tight circuits but it hasn't been the case strangely. Maybe it's a question of how engineering the car, we have to wait and see what the Romeo Ferraris will work on it.

Surely it's not the best Alfa but the next Giulietta should not appear until 2022, so it is what it is
