Good for Toyota to win on home soil. Anyone else notice that Davidson got 0 driving time in the #8? It was mostly Kaz Nakajima but Buemi at least got the first hour. Davidson did miss Austin so he's not included in the championship, though.

Thoughts:
-Porsche gt team unlucky not to win. I think they were the fastest car on the day. Af corse must have gotten lucky with a safety car pit stop. -ford gt was horrible. I think some heads need to roll on the wec side of the ford ganasi side of things. -Fuji in October is not a good time to have this race. It rains every year almost. -lmp2 gets too much tv time. They are not THAT interesting |

Its a shame Clearwater didn't win GTE AM as they were on fire throughout the race when it was running. Congrats to the Spirit of Race guys though. Keita Sawa was epic at his home track.
What a week for James Calado, becomes a dad and wins the race. |

Shame the race didn't garner much traction here or anywhere it seems. The weather sure didn't help with the competition aspect in terms of time. When the racing was going I felt it was good. There were good passes in the wet and it was great to see Toyota more competitive. The #2 dropped like a stone later in the race, which was weird. There were times it was barely faster than lmp2's. Good to see 'locals' getting the win and the fans were top as always.

Hi guys,
On my Blog you can find my analysis about this race: https://drracing.wordpress.com/2017/...race-analysis/ Again, a couple of interesting points although we had such a bad weather and many interruptions. |
