Not too sure about that.... I think older WTCC-spec Chevys raced in the Chinese series a few years ago, but I don't think all cars are built to full S2000-specs. I've even heard that the new 2.0T Fords are very similar to NGTC-BTCC-cars with RML running gear underneath.

DSC just realised the official entry list- 22 cars, 3 GT3, the rest GT CUP. Mostly Porsches.

Decent number of cars but not enough GT3 to make it interesting.

I'm surprised at the number of old models here, it's not exactly a poor country.

Disgusting blatant casual racism. You are clearly a lowlife online and I bet you wouldn't have the guts to spew your BS to my face in real life.

EDIT: Looking over your post history, I can't help but laugh. Enjoy wallowing around in your life of ignorance and mediocrity while you engage in your favourite pastime of discriminating against people online. What a pathetic existence that is your life.

No racism homie.

China is the number one leader in counterfeit goods in the world, has nothing to do with the people.

No, it has a calendar, regular teams already confirmed and even a new team in OD Racing

There will be a tie up with Blancpain GT Asia too

Watched the races on the Chinese GT Facebook, narrated by the Aussie who was doing Gt Asia commentary last year. Very nice clean coverage, not heavy on on screen timing and positions but all round nice show.

Goldenport made for a nice venue, never seen any Racing there, the start finish straight is short but allowed for some nice overtaking.

Very big difference in ability levels, but some big teams running, Will Bamber looked untouchable coming through the field in race two before a technical failure.

I'd say quality of Racing was on par with Blancpain GT Asia, level of drivers probably a peg lower

China GT 2019 kicks off in a couple of weekends time, with the grid looking like its rebounding after poor form last year.

Decent streaming on facebook, and english comms make this worth a watch for some decent names mopping up!

15th-17th March - Sepang Circuit
3rd-5th May - Ningbo Circuit
28th-30th June - Shanghai Circuit
9th-11th August - Shougang GT Circuit
6th-8th September - V1 Circuit Tianjin
11th-13th October - Shanghai Circuit
November - Wuhan Street Circuit Invitational Race

Interesting calendar, a couple of new circuits to see, and Ningbo which served the Blancpain Asia really well last year but they wont return, so this will be the only series to see that track in action this year.

Good grid so far too, more to come im sure. Not sure if they will split the GT3/GTC & GT4 grids again this year, I hope not

Big teams like Absolute Racing and Phoenix Racing Asia pull out of this championship soon they understood the 'rules' were a bit eerie.

How come there is a Lotus Evora GT4 racing if there is no GT4-homologated Lotus Evora?

We’re constantly changing facts, rewriting history to make things easier, to make them fit in with our preferred version of events...

It’s just a national championship. No reason why they can’t keep competing with the car provided it stays true to what it was originally homologated as. Can’t see Lotus paying to have the car rehomologated which is a shame as the Evora did ok in GT4 and the road car still is on sale.

And how do you know that? AFAIK the GT4 homologations aren't available to the public like the GT3s are. So please elaborate on where you got that information from?
