Even though this might not have been the best-suited race track for Mercedes, the team continues working like a swiss-watch from GP to GP. Wake me up from Ferraris get a one-two finish.

I voted Mercedes because they had the great idea of letting their customers use the latest engine developments to verify that they were ready for competitive use.

Had to give it to Ferrari. Leclerc for his first win, and Vettel for playing defence on Hamilton so well. Great race.

Mercedes, no sacrifice needed for two on the podium.

I considered all three of the top teams, and it was really hard to decide between them.
Mercedes? Two cars in the top three when Ferrari had clearly designed a car almost specifically for Spa. Both drivers and the team improved their standings in the championships. Red Bull? There's no knowing what Verstappen would have done, but he was looking pretty handy. Albon did exceptionally well once he got through that initial phase. But it's "what might have been". Ferrari. OK, their number two driver couldn't keep the tyres together like everyone else, but their number one driver could so I don't think the blame lies with the car or team. The car was tailor-made for this circuit and it worked. Ferrari. |

I can't vote for Ferrari because the Vettel strategy was pants. They had a 1-2 available. It was going to be tough to pull off, but it was absolutely do-able. They ended up with a 1-4.
I'd vote for Mercedes for not blinking when Ferrari tried to pull them away. |
