speedcraft should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
A Racer’s Brain

Hello, I've been working on a project I call Speed Craft for 30+ years, and finally have my website up.

http://www.intuitivespeed.com

The topic is very detailed explorations of the techniques of driving (primarily mental at this point) which I have prepared in the hopes that they may help driver’s improve their performance, if that is something they need, or for the drivers who are already quick, it may offer a possible explanation of why they are quick.

Below are direct links to some of the key content on the site:
Confidence for Racers
CORE Skill 1 – Reducing the Sensation of Speed
Race Walking
Imagery Training for Racers
Concentration for Racers

Anyway, I hope you find the information useful and/or interesting.

After a few years of life intervening, I've finally finished up a brief summary of my experience with, and thoughts about, the Spiral to Speed, and Sensitivity. I've put it together in a PDF I call "Advanced Driving & Sensitivity Concepts". It's basically a 36 page booklet about the following arcane topics related to 'understanding' the 'feel' of driving:
  • Tire, Traction & Cornering Terminology
  • Speed as a Liquid
  • The Energy Cycle
  • The 3D Traction Circle
  • Controlling Rotation & Planning Corners Backwards
  • Driving a Trajectory, Not Just a Line
  • Sensitivity and the Energy Cycle
Anyway, if you're interested, you can get a copy here:
