Very interesting Olivier! Any idea who had it before the Messieurs mentioned in your post, ie in 1979-80?

Hello my English is not great I serves me as an internet translator.
When I bought this car he(it) my étè mentions that Rotthengater had piloted this car.
I do not have more information, it is in photo on mister PARRIAUX's site.
I can send photos
Cordially

Yes I was doing the EFDA run by with Dan Parterl (sic?). Didn't like FF much.

Keith, only a year late, and sorry if you've told us elsewhere before, but whats the history of your B49? Is it -01 or -02, 1 of the Jeffery cars?

Has anyone got any paddock photos of B48's without bodywork?

I am starting out the rebuild of chassis 04 and could really do with some images showing the mechanical details

Any help much appreciated

Bruce

The restoration of chassis B48 04 is nearly complete and painting the bodywork is not to far away.

I would very much like to paint the car in its original scheme and colours but have so far only managed to find a few faded side on views of the car with its Vosxon and Stebel sponsorship to assist.

I could really do with some paddock shots or different angles to try and get the scheme and colour as near as possible.

Does anyone have any photos that could help?

Here is Olivier's B48-79-09 for sale today.

By the way, just to clear up some of the questions regarding the Irish cars that appeared at the Phoenix Park in 1979, maybe this footage might help. Even if it doesn't... it's pure gold for any Atlantic fan... enjoy !

Chassis number 5 is now going on the market. Not enough time to do restoration. If anyone wants a Rahal chassis then drop me a not with your details and I will get the owner to contact you.

Now on FB, a couple of points. First, confirmation that the Fildes car was B49-01, ex Jeffrey in Ireland from 1980-81. Second, Mr DW is now insisting the Robinson Esprit was based on his B42 NOT the B48...

The last point is wrong.
Brian Robinson's Esprit was based on the Chevron B48. The B42 was converted to the Grange.

re: Roy Baker B48

does anybody know who has this car now?
Len Terry drew some modifications in order to improve straight line speed and corner handling.
as curator for Len's drawings, i found the drawings for the proposed modifications. whether or not they were carried out by C.T.G Racing Ltd or not, that i dont know.
if you have any information please contact me LTVRT at yahoo.co.uk

That post I made about 12 years ago re Warren B's B48, and the invoice signed by Nigel Dickson showing "B48-79-02" seems a little more relevant now... Seems like we've been wrong all the time!!

Just to update the thread, I have just seen B48-79-07 advertised for sale in Motorsport January 2020 page 151 but carrying B42 bodywork £145,000 just for information and the records.
