Refunds for cancelled GP's

We were meant to be going to the Dutch TT for our first ever MotoGP which was understandably cancelled.

However, no refund has been forthcoming from MotoGP Tickets from whom we bought the tickets. Communication from them has been non-existent and any emails we send are answered with:

"We will do whatever the promoter does, the promoter has not been in touch and thank you for your patience."

It's as if they don't want to refund...

Just wondering if anyone else is having similar issues be it MotoGP or other events?

I had a ticket for the Silverstone WEC round and have already been refunded for that, but that was direct from the circuit.

I was going to meet up with some mates who were flying down for the Spanish round as I should have been down there anyway. I think that they have been refunded as they had an all inclusive trip with one of the specialist firms. Fortunately I hadn't bought a ticket as I could have got in with one of the Spanish run teams that I happen to know.

I also had tickets for this years Dutch TT bought directly from the circuit.
They responded that the tickets will be valid for 2021, but didn't offer a full refund.
that's ok for me, will be going next year, but would've been nice if there was and option to get a refund.

Another one for me was Sebring but that was postponed instead of canceled. Don't know yet if tickets will be valid for 2021 too, but from what I understood there was not offered refunds

The IOM TT were very good at quickly refunding, as were Premier Inn.

No refund yet from Monaco Classic ticket agency. Nothing from the travel agent I paid for the flight with. I booked a hotel in the UK for work via a booking site, they didn't tell me it was a non-refundable booking.

I think the moral if the tale is book direct not with an internet agency. "If something looks too cheap to be true it probably is "

I bought my tickets through MotoGP which makes it all the more disappointing. I feel like I've been robbed.

I cancelled accommodation without issue.
