Loving this Xfinity race on the road course hope its a permenant fixture.
The cars sound so amazing, they slide around, theyre softly sprung, really enjoyable to watch. |

If it wasn't for a couple guys who just can't pass without contact it would be a great race but the complete inability if that little sh1t Cindric to actually make a pass. Hope some one punches him out in the pits, he can't drive without hurting people and broke Dinger's car this afternoon. If his dad didn't run Penske he wouldn't be in a stock car.
Has to be a Penske track rule over the radio, "no burnouts on the bricks" to Briscoe. |

There are an awful lot of drivers in Cup, xfinity and Trucks who are not there because of talent.
Thankfully some are. I look at Gibbs and Penske's xfinity rosters in particular and think oh my. I hope the good Lord will ensure they don't ever waste a Cup ride. |

Yeah, that was nasty and it's pretty impressive that it looks like there's only one person badly enough injured for hospital treatment.
I just saw some footage from across the track to pit in, and it looks much nastier with the cars coming from left to right than "up" the picture from a long, long lens. |

This race has been crazy, so many cars out and we’re only just past halfway. Some smaller teams could get some decent points today

What a shame for Hamlin. Tyres a bit dodgy today.
He and Harvick are looking mighty strong. I’d like Elliot to be in the mix too. |

So far it really is all about Hamlin and Harvick this year.
A two team equivalent of the Busch, Harvick and Truex in 2018. Which Logano won the championship because of NASCARs play off nonsense. Let's hope a driver who has done well all season long gets it this time. Kyle Busch still well short of his normal - I'm starting to think he is really missing all those pre race sessions to fine tune the car; clearly teammate Hamlin has an edge and can manage a car that's not quite right and/ or quickly identify what changes he needs the crew to make in the pit. |

That's what you'll see with shorter event durations, the drivers who can drive around a problem will shine. And think Nascar has learned, that brings in interest. No one watched all the practice and happy hour sessions anyway, save money and cut it to a practice and quali.

It’s great. The races are long enough for you to do some stuff with the car.
I worry (not much) long term that it will be no practice opportunity for newbies to get up to speed. Although maybe that’s is what Busch is for? Or perhaps for circuits they go to twice one race could have practice and the other not bother and just go straight into the race. |

Some new dates released including running the Daytona road course. That I will enjoy, it will definitely split the fast learners from the rest of the pack - it'll be Hamlins and Harvicks to lose I reckon.
