Isn't Dyson a major if not complete interest in AER? |

I remember the days of Autocon and Intersport Lola-AERs as well... quick for a second, dead for an hour |

AER comes from a long long tradition of blowing engines....
is hard to understand why their engines have never actually been reliable at all... maybe they always used to save on materials wear to propose a more competitive price for their supply compared to judd or zytek alternatives. To be honest, need to say that the latest p60 version was extremely powerful and quite reliable last year inside SMP cars (for le mans at least). |

Agree, the non-exploding SMP podium was the most surprising, and memorable moment of last year. If it was to be the last time AER raced at LM, at least in a non-bop category, it was a fitting end

and considering SMP AER p60 had >700hp, it was the most powerful petrol engine since post group C era. |

Talk of non-payment for engines is not correct
Chris Dyson is a co-owner of AER |

I'm sure that LNT paid AER for the engines. I believe that Tominson's goals have moved elsewhere as far as how he wants to spend his money on Ginetta's racing programs. Not that it's going doing him and Ginetta many favors in the eyes of the ACO.

Wonder what AER will do now? I’m sure they have plenty more years of racing left in them in sportscar racing, a great name to have

I believe they still the Mazda engine and they have a wide range of other engines they run, think Indy Lights runs AERs and doesn't one of the formula feeders use them as well in Europe?

Indy Lights that is currently not running and, no, I can’t think of any Euro feeder series using AER. Not for quite some time.

I doubt it would go bankrupt either, they will probably find some means to carry on
