re: older Threadings for Fittings
We're working on an older[1940's] car that seems to have odd threadings on the Brake & Fuel Lines. This TATRA may have used WENTWORTH(or Whitworth) Std lines as TATRA used some UK parts in their cars.
Typicall a car of this type was all metric(SAE). Is there a site/shoppe that sells these older type lines? _hyphen p.s. all I could find were the tools @ http://www.britishtool.com/fast.htm |

Technical spec for Whitworth screw threads:
http://www.boltscience.com/pages/screw4.htm These guys sell them: http://www.a2a4.co.uk/acatalog/A2A4_...hread_127.html If you do a Google search with "Whitworth" and "threads" as keywords, you'll find plenty more. Last edited by Vitesse; 13 Oct 2002 at 22:37. |
