19 cars entry list is not bad but not impressive too.

Tell me one race where a ADESS impressed us with its strong pace!? Can't find one. There are cars that were simply not build for racing. |

ADESS representatives were at Sebring with Atlantic. There could have been upsides in having something else than the stock French option at some of the tracks.
It's not a 'good' chassis but at least ADESS is somewhat still trying to make the grids ocassionally, unlike Dome which never materialized, Riley which was complete disaster and Ginetta who got so bored of their product that they seemed to erase it from their own press releases. Anyway, it's not like they could modify the chassis to fix the issues in this frozen spec category. These smaller boutique makes have nowhere else to go now that LMP2 has been corrupted to full spec series and LMP1 is making way towards LMGTP's ill fated vision. |

Last year there were 25 cars in total on the entry list: 13 LMP3 + 12 MPC (former IMSA Lites). The number of P3 has grown to 19 this year but no MPC. And because the Daytona Roar race is one of two enduros (4 hours), a few teams have scaled back to only one car instead of two for the regular races. I think we can expect 20+ for Sebring and onwards. That's very decent, especially since the P3 is more expensive to run than the former Lites cars.

The new Norma will not be called Norma, but Duqueine D08.

Oh I thought all series would get the 'new' cars immediately, but apparently not
These prototypes will compete in the European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup and Asian Ultimate Cup beginning next year. The Asian Le Mans Series (2020-2021 season), IMSA Prototype Challenge (2021) and Australian LMP3 Cup (2022) will then switch out the current cars for the new models. https://www.lemans.org/en/news/the-n...l-stages/52745 |

There is a new Radical season starting in the US. I had never heard of this series but the one part that caught my eye is that Jon Field races in it!! For those of you who remember his exploits with Intersport Racing you know he is fast and fearless, or at least he was before the jailtime.....

Wonder what kind of scam/embezzlement is going on with Bricker Home Design to get Jon involved.
