Here's an interesting stat. Apart from A.J. Foyt, all the other four time winners of the 500 have, at one time or another, won driving for Penske: Rick Mears 1979, 1984, 1988, 1991, Al Unser 1987 and Hélio Castroneves 2001, 2002 and 2009.

Roger definitely has all or nothings at Indy, seems like periods of dominance and then oops, we should not have borrowed that car moments. Or this year given the current tech climate in the US Russian hackers stealing the Penske laptops so no one could have a decent setup book. Pagenaud raced well but it seems like the rest of the team was hoping for off strategy calls and yellows to bring the race to them.

(yes that's fun and not insanity on my part, see Colonial Pipeline and now JBS, I'm insane in other ways)

A neat trick, up to a point.
Sounds like the worst part is the inconsistency in how the brakes come on and how one end or corner might grab first.
