Race Result:
After today's race Alex Palou leads the driver's championship with 349 points, followed by Pato O'Ward on 321 and Dixie is still there in third place with 296. Newgarden is fourth on 261. Will Power's third place in the race is little consolation for Penske, after Josef Newgarden's gear box failure, as Scott McLaughlin finished in 14th and Pagenaud finished 18th. Not a great day for Chevrolet either, as only three cars finished in the top 10. |

Is a 10th place for Chilton one of his best IndyCar finishes??

What a horrible break for Josef, but congrats to Palou.
I didn’t like Jimmie at first in his nascar cup career, but I tolerated him and didn’t dislike him after a bit, which says a lot, but this has gotten ridiculous. I love him doing what he wants and more power to him. Just gotta clean it up JJ! |

BUT he does bring a boatload of money to the series as a whole and generally doesn't get in the way. Now if he could spin off and NOT bring out a FCY, that would be great |

All of a sudden, theres 7 ex-f1 drivers in the field...
Pagenaud went straight backward just like at detroit. Still somehow in the thick of the championship. If Jimmie Johnson was taking up a seat the could go to someone else, it would be annoying, but this is a car that otherwise wouldn't be there. He's living out a dream, and taking on a massive challenge at an older age. The cautions are annoying, but he should keep improving. |
