Extracting more power from Dallara F317 Piedrafita sport
Hi guys I’ve just been directed to this forum for some advice an im hoping someone could help me.
Recently I’ve bought a Dallara 317 it’s still running the standard Magnetti Marelli ecu and airbox restricter. The engine I’m told is the latest piedrafita sport engine. I do also have a spare engine with the car an it’s around half life too just like the one in the car at the minute. The race class I’m running it in has no restrictions what so ever, it holds its own through the bends but is lacking on the straight line speed. I was going to maybe try an have the ecu unlocked an have the car remapped. Just wondering has anyone else got them to go any faster in a straight line any other way. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

If its the SXE10 3S-GE as found in Altezza RS200 engine, then there are camshaft upgrades. https://www.toda-racing.co.jp/en/pro...am/3sgs-1.html
