They're going to have even less when Mr Legutko sells his Civic, and the two Mauer Astras withdraw altogether, as per their FB post.

My understanding is that one of the cars had a faulty tyre, and asked for a replacement. They were denied that request, allegedly because of a lack of tyres.

Nuts.

Sounds not very professional from Hankook and/or TCR Germany.

First round of TCR Italy was pretty good.

I agree, looks like an interesting prospect of a season for TCR Italy. Race 2 was a real nailbiter and remarkably clean racing throughout the weekend too. I think I read somewhere that there was a second Fiat coming along too, hopefully for Kevin Giacon?

Antonella Bassani, a Brazilian karting graduate, will drive an Audi RS3 at Interlagos with her idol Ana Beatriz "Bia" Figueiredo.

Clean racing indeed.

Makes sense the second car will be for Kevin Giacon, although the Audi is a good benchmark to compare to the FIAT.

Another enjoyable pair of races in TCR Italy this weekend, albeit a bit of a messier affair than Monza. Babuin did a fantastic job of making friends with the Estonia armada, I'm not sure there was an ALM Honda he didn't hit.

At the end they didn't withdraw the series.
Any reason they race the cars as Holden instead of Opel?

Lada Motorsport presented the NG Vesta TCR.

New suspension, new gearbox, new exhaust, new aero and upgraded safety features.

Unfortunately we won't see this one racing in WTCR soon...

Nuts.

It was a completely wrong tyre (size?), so it made also some damage on the car.

In the end Hankook did pay for all damage, so they will stay in the championship. Of course missed opportunities for points and results are not paid...

Such a shame compared to the ST/S2000 eras of the series when it had one of the most diverse range of cars. The year before Jan Nilsson spoilt it was incredible, one of the strongest driver line-ups in 9 different models of car from 7 different manufacturers.

It would only be fair to point out that you are a former employee of his and indeed at the time of the split. Not your fault, but you aren't in a position to have an objective viewpoint.

True that. But it would not be fair to say that he was alone in the split. He and his team was one of five teams behind the breakaway TTA series.
