To be fair - they tried something different with Time Attack. It has big crowds from the shows they are joined with and brings a whole new audience. The only real downside is that traditional race fans won't go just to watch TCR as the ticket prices are much higher due to it being a car show and not a regular race meeting. The larger grids now allow for them to be a headline act.

Quality of streaming coverage of BRSCC is less than BGT?

Their streams are pretty good relative to a lot of other 'club' live streams. I would say it's comparable to AlphaLive, albeit maybe with fewer tech issues. |

Remember the quality of any streaming/TV production is all relative to budgets. Previous seasons with only 15 regular entries would make it difficult for the organizer's to afford 'decent' coverage - when you are confident of having grid sizes around the mid-20s along with being the headline act, you can pay for better quality.

TCR UK Snetterton 200 entry list. 22 cars. Trotter switches to a new CUPRA Leon Competicion. Winfield switches from a CUPRA to a Hyundai i30N. Wilmot and Ley move to Area Motorsport. Debuts for George Jaxon (Team HARD CUPRA), Lewis Brown (Chameleon Leon Competicion), Mark Havers (T4 CUPRA), and Jonathon Beeson (Paul Sheard VW Golf). No Jess Hawkins (commitments with AMRF1 at COTA), no Jamie Tonks, and no Ant Whorton-Eales (presumably the team and driver have given up with the awful Subaru). |

Jamsport also ran the Hyundai's of Hart and Wilmot but both left the team after the last round They also ran the Shephard car in the 1st 3 rounds and Tomlison's Cupra in round 1 only Every driver they run this season has left them Harts car kept breaking down while Wilmot has had 2 DSQ due to technical infractions Feel like more behind the scenes then they have given up with the Subaru |

Chris Smiley champion! Great last couple of races, to have it go down to the wire and the pair of them battling together on track. Very impressed with Smith.
Hopefully the series continues its growth into next year, was a much improved season. Far too many retirements and car breakages however (not that that's entirely down the championship), and drivers / teams chopping and changing, dropping in and out a bit. Wonder if Restart and Smiley will aim for the BTCC again or stick with TCR - down to £££ I suppose! |

Compared to other series TCR UK has clearly more older cars.

Great to see it genuinely go down to the wire - it is also nice to see someone like Smith who has been consistent all year be in the title fight despite not winning a single race!! His lowest result was 7th and only driver to finish in the points in every race - without drop scores he would have won by 15 points
The quality has taken a big step forward this year, which is reflected in the lap times, we will see the same again. It is clear quite a few are gearing up with newer equipment (3 new Leons already, i30s being bought from Europe, etc) - being headline act next year will help a few others make up their mind. |
