Sandtoft Aerodrome Sprint 1966

Nostalgic old film of a sprint held at Sandtoft Aerodrome in 1966 featuring a range of 60's cars including a good sprinkling of Minis:-

Brilliant. Just as I remember racing/sprints/ hillclimbs in the 1960s.
Amused by the 500cc car driver in a short sleeved shirt (what? No Nomex) though his car did have a roll over bar fitted - pity it was 3 inches lower than the top of his helmet!
Great crowd. Far more than you get at the average club race meeting these days.
