Still no news on entries. The Bäckmans are off to GT racing, Szymon Ladniak is doing the Ferari Challenge, Jonas Karklys is moving into ADAC GT Masters, the Opels (Holdens) are for sale, Team Engstler is moving into GT3 racing...

Indeed it looks worrying, sounds like there may not even be a championship this year (hope not).
Kircher is off to TCR Eastern Europe with new German team Mertel Motorsport (run by Kurt Treml from Engstler motorsport, btw). Maybe ROJA motorsport will stay and there will be some last minute entries. |

Except for the first few seasons this series was always struggling.

Should they not merge with TCR Eastern Europe?

If I have understood the STT press release correctly, there are three TCR cars: an Audi RS3 LMS TCR for Max Gruhn, a CUPRA TCR for Victoria Froß and an Opel Astra TCR for Desiree Müller.

Correct me if I am wrong but these three are new to TCR Germany. So all existing TCR Germany drivers have left.

Such a shame for the series.
Good that it has been able to continue at least in this form. Although there were many dissatisfied competitors regarding series management (namely Honda teams Halder and Fugel), so maybe that played a part too. Wonder what happens to ROJA Motorsport, they seemed to have 4 Hyundai. Did they sell them? |
