Race for Ukraine - Daytona Milton Keynes - June 8th 2023

This year my charity karting team ‘Hamilton’s Flyers’ is racing in 11 days time ( Thursday June 8th ) at this wonderful event being held at Daytona Milton Keynes. I’ve renamed our second team ‘John Smith’s Flyers’ in memory of our much missed Clerk of the Course and Race Steward John Gregory Smith (johngee), bless him.

As part of the fundraising efforts, they will also be hosting a silent auction with special prizes. This is a great opportunity to bid on unique items and contribute to a worthy cause.

Let’s come together to make a difference and support Siobhan’s Trust. Join us at Daytona for a day of racing and charitable giving. We look forward to seeing you at the event!

Last year my friend circuit owner Charles Graham and a colleague bravely went to Ukraine with a van full of items for them, so this event and charity is very dear to his heart, so please support him, thank you.

Yesterday, my two charity kart racing teams ‘Hamilton’s Flyers’ and ‘John Smith’s Flyers’ (in memory of International Clerk of the Course and Race Steward John Gregory Smith) raced at this event for Ukraine. We didn’t achieve a podium this year but both teams had a good race (well done everyone) and with “JSF” team captain Evan McHugh driving a massive first stint of 31 laps out of 80, he lead the race which would have pleased John immensely. Well done circuit owner Charles Graham’s team ‘Team Zelensky’ for winning the event.

Lots of money was raised for the Ukraine charity which was brilliant.
