Dixon and Grosjean are the only 2 who can make it to the end now after those stops. Looks like it is theirs to lose/win

If Dixie hadn't backed off late he would have lapped everyone. Pato barely got ahead pushing at the last stop and Dixie cruising a bit and then he just let Malukas by since Dave was willing to go around like Rossi couldn't.

Honda seems to be better at the partial throttle and roll in fuel economy.

NBC did not make it easy late to keep up with who was where with their split screen and obsession with last lap speed on the pylon.

Dixie did it again, as Josef Newgarden's oval clean sweep, evaporated as the Sun came finally came out at Gateway.

Not the result Penske wanted, having got the front row lock out, with Josef Newgarden taking the lead on the first lap and leading for 98 laps. Scotty Mac finished 4th but it doesn't really make up for it. Penske have been off the boil this year.

Another good showing from Arrows McLaren but not enough to get that elusive win.

I have no idea how Dixon does it, but other drivers admit they try the same things and can't make the numbers Scott does. Serious question, do they do post race inspections of race winners? Checking things like ride height, or tank capacity!?
