Best imsa sprint race of 2023?
I have a rare evening to myself this weekend and thought I might watch one of the imsa sprint races from this year.
So, which one was best!? Thanks! |

Thought about it for some time and still wasn't sure which one to pick Eventually I voted for Road America. 2 hours and 15 minutes of green flag running (minus first 25 minutes) and good racing in all classes. I rate Long Beach high for similar reason, no mid-race yellow interruptions there either and Porsche's bold strategy in GTP to drive the entire race on one set of tyres was unexpected and gave us good battles between them and BWM/Acura (with a sad ending for Ricky Taylor ).

I went Road America. Although I remember enjoying Laguna Seca for some reason. Maybe it was all the traffic at the end as it was manic.

Long Beach was good but Laguna Seca was crazy - well worth a watch.
Road America was pretty unexciting in comparison, imo. Obviously it’s a great track but the poll is about the actual races themselves as far as I can see! So that’s what I’ll judge them by. |

I see two options here. Either thread creator forgot that Indy isn't an endurance race this season or... you know what I mean

Or as it is in the future it would have been impressive for Jimbo to have watched Indy last weekend.
