Really want to give it to Norris but I don't know... was he too lenient when letting Max through, or just being wise?
Hamilton was pretty strong throughout. Alonso was probably most worthy it overall if he had finished! |

Not too sure who to give it to. Norris looked good at one point and tried the undercut against Vertappen. Hamilton should have pitted earlier and so was too late to really do anything about catching Verstappen. Shame Alonso didn't finish. Max for 50 GP wins.
I clicked on Hamilton accidentally, it should have been Verstappen. |

Im really underwhelmed by the race and the result.
So while I gave it to Mclaren for the team vote I'm giving t to Max for the driver award. Lewis might have grabbed it but if he's disqualified, even on a technicality, it's still no on. |

Winning in a car with braking problems against an illegal car close behind, vote goes to Max.

Like others I was torn on this one between the three podium finishers but Max gets it for mine - smart drive with braking issues to win the race, impressive.

Logan Sergeant for avoiding being featured in the modern day equivalent of the F1 rejects website.

Now, if you were to say the Stewards should have ordered testing for everyone after a 50% failure, I would agree, as non-complaint cars may now have received points/more points. I actually voted for Lewis regardless, it was a drive that took risks that didn't pan out, and adapted... then REALLY didn't pan out |

I'll buck the trend and go for Lando. Superb at the start and in the first stint, seemed pretty good in the second but fell away in the third. Still a great (legal) podium.

Max - got the win with a less than 100% car from a lower than usual starting spot. Honourable mentions to Norris and Hamilton (despite the DQ) for making it interesting at the front.

Good drive from Norris, lead the early stages, just didn't have the pace in the later stints, but still a good 3rd, which has become 2nd

I usually say, when I post in these polls this year and last that RBR and Max really didn't overcome much opposition, and thus aren't worthy praise for any achievement. That is to say, they didn't overcome much to end on top. In this case I think there is a case, though.
Personally I am splitting my vote between Lewis and Fernando, and a "well done" for Lando for showing what the improved car can do. |

my post penalties vote goes to Max.
but to be honest, even pre penalty not sure i would have given it to Ham. while he got closer to Max near the end he wasnt really setting many fast laps and thought it was more about Max slowing down/brake issues that brought Ham back into the window. also liked how Max used his DRS on back markers to hold the gap at the end. |
