Alonso, for pulling off a complete steal of a 3rd place right at the last gasp. Fabulous.

Alonso. Even if he hadn't got 3rd place back I still would have voted for him. He drove brilliantly all Grand Prix weekend.

With 5 laps to go it was a toss up for me between Lando & Ferdi - those last few laps swung it over to Ferdi though - so good to see.

Fred and Perez made a real race of it and Fred's final pass got the award for him.

It seems rare in the DRS era of Formula 1 that great racecraft is properly rewarded, but it definitely was today so I have to vote for Fernando Alonso. Imagine if that battle between him and Perez was for the win! Honourable mention to Lando Norris for being the closest challenger all weekend, and a lot quicker than Piastri, and also to Max Verstappen of course who was perfect as usual, but didn't have to do anything special, as usual. And Pierre Gasly was quite impressive as well, totally dominated Ocon.

Not so much the defence, which was amazing, but that he came back after getting passed was unbelievable!
Alonso! |

It had to be someone with 'ando' in his name. It the end Fernando won it over Lando for me.

I like to vote for different drivers each time. I'm gonna give it to Lance Stroll. Wasn't as quick as Fernando, but a good solid 5th after a tough season

I appear to be in the majority with rewarding Alonso for his superb battle, but a strong nod to Lando for his attempts.

For once I think I agree with almost everyone. Gasly did some good racing, and Sargeant wasn't too terrible. Also, Stroll was up there for real and Max did his usual and maximized what you could with the fastest car. I think Lando did improve his starts and with a more consistent qualifying he is definitely the real challenger to Verstappen.
But, for making it a entertaining race, I think we all had one favourite, regardless who we vote for in this poll. I still claim he is the greatest racer of them all, having done well in multiple disciplines, but whatever you think of that, Fernando Alonso was sublime. Amazing stuff. |

Norris’ season reminds me a bit of Button in 04. Finally in a car that can win races, but unfortunately there’s a completely dominant car to contend with |
