2020 GT World Challenge Europe

Timur Boguslavskiy won the GTWCE overall drivers championship driving an AKKA ASP Mercedes-AMG GT. Also he was runner-up in the GTWCE Sprint Cup drivers championship. He won at Misano race 2 and Barcelona race 3.

AKKA ASP was runner-up at both the GTWCE overall teams championship and the GTWCE Sprint Cup teams championship.

They will support customer teams in DTM, ADAC GT Masters, Nürburgring Endurance Series, GT World Challenge Europe and Intercontinental GT Challenge.


Maro Engel, Maximilian Götz, Thomas Jäger, Raffaele Marciello and Luca Stolz continue as factory drivers, joined by Daniel Juncadella and Jules Gounon.

I was just thinking that I have not seen Yelmur Buurman at all racing anything this season. Does anyone know what this former factory driver is up to? Did he retire?

Mentioned during Macau GT coverage that Gounon may be doing DTM in 2024.

Adam Christodoulou was racing a Lotus Emira GT4 at Macau last weekend.
