In other news, Feeder Series reports that the ACI will host a "Euro 4" championship (not to be confused with the Eurocup-4). It would feature three rounds, none of which clash with the British, French or Spanish F4 championships:

* Oct 22: Barcelona (GT Open / TCR Europe)

Somewhat understandable when you put 30+ teenagers into 120mph+ high performance vehicles, having been (self) taught to behave like that for 10 years in karts.

And the pressure on the kids is too high. The mindset is F1 or bust at that stage of their career, and everyone is trying to emulate Max. Some drivers do know their limits though, with all due respect to them.

The Euro 4 had its inaugural round last weekend at Mugello, held over three 30min races.

It had 26 entries, most of them from the Italian F4 as expected.
