I think Audi's plan backfired. Audi said clearly (before lap 8) that their plan is for Vervisch to pass Urrutia and then back up Urrutia for Huff to catch up.


It can be seen on TV that Urrutia is right on Vervisch's back bumper in the U turn on lap 8, when Huff's bonnet went up.
