You don’t get speed trap data from IMSA it is only a WEC thing.

I’d love to know how the Saturday is run. What they do. I guess some systems tests. Calibrations. I wonder if they vary power and weight to try and get an idea what it does.
Not sure if this was the case for the GTP's but the GT cars were running parts of the test with direct orders from IMSA. Stint length, fuel loads, tires, throttle mapping, all that was dictated by the series in some sessions to dial in BOP.

I think we could see GTD get into the 1 min 44s for the first time at Daytona Qualifying this year. GTLM got down to the 1 min 42s before their departure from the series.
