Alan Healy Memorial Stages at Cadwell Park this weekend (Sunday 3rd April).
MSV website here. Evnt site here. Stage diagrams here. Usual mix of circuit and acess roads, run in both directions. Entry list here. Slightly less impressive than some of the circuit rallies this season, but still lots to enjoy. Timetable here. Cadwell is beautiful, especially the area in the woods. Weather looks a little chilly! I managed to get slightly sunburned standing in the Dyfi forest in Wales last weekend, but seems less chance of that this Sunday! |

Pictures from a glorious sunny day in Dyfi forest for Rally North Wales a couple of weekends ago: https://bit.ly/3r2MX4o
Primarily a round of the historic championship so loads of Escorts, plus a Capri, a couple of Datsuns and Matt Edwards in an Abarth 131. Nice mix of other modern and old machinery as well. And lots of dust! I was still cleaning dust out of my clothes, bags, camera equipment and car a week later . |

Yeah, it was a glorious day of rallying. And a non Escort winning the Historic Rally....
Saturday is the Rallynuts Stages (formerly the Kerridge, Mutiny, Severn Valley) I doubt it will be dusty. |

Rallynuts have posted a very useful list of links on their Twitter so I'll link to that rather than just copy entry list, live results, spectator info etc; https://twitter.com/RallynutsStages/...30636206776330 (you don't need to be logged in to Twitter or have an acocunt to see this).
Looks like a cold but bright day in the forests! I'll be at Hafren, very much looking forward to it! |

First round of the British Rally Championship this weekend, in the rallying hotbed of Clacton-on-Sea in Essex .
Website: https://corbeauseatsrally.co.uk/ Seeded enty list: https://mtc1.uk/Entry/CSRTC22/EntryList.php Spectator info: https://corbeauseatsrally.co.uk/spectators-2/ There's a Saturday evening stage along the seafront in Clacton. I believe there will be some live coverage but I don't have a link for that. |

https://bit.ly/3vF5Pb8 All from one stage but with a good variety of long and close shots in exposed, open scrubland. Over 130 cars here, from the usual gaggle of Escorts to the modern R5s, Imprezas and other old and new machinery. Enjoy! |

Some nice shots there It looks like you found a good spot - some nice variety of angles all from one place.
I watched some of the coverage from Clacton - Saturday evening stages and on and off throughout the day on Sunday. It was good to see that all of the competitors got shown rather than just the top few cars - the idea of running the field in reverse order for the Saturday stages worked well too. |

Decent short highlights video from the opening BRC round at Clacton: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFEvvZFQ3hU
The event seems to have been very well received and attended by locals. Closed road events are literally and metaphorically much more accessible for casual fans than events deep in the forests! |

Pictures from the Woodpecker Stages in early September: http://bit.ly/3CZbIVi
All from the first run through Radnor. I did shoot the second run through as well, but for the very first time since starting motorsport photography I lost the pictures by formatting the wrong memory card! At least I now know where I’ll be standing next year! The usual mix of R5s, Imprezas, Escorts and an eclectic selection of old and new hot hatches. I also have Rally Yorkshire in my photo backlog and will be at Cambrian, Malton and Grizedale rallies before the end of the year. I only added forest rallying to my motorsport endeavours post-lockdown but am already prioritising rally dates as I plan next year! |

Nice shots looks like a good variety of cars - Volvo 240? Nice Lancia Delta too.
I think we've all done the "format the wrong card" thing. I've also done "leave the battery at home charging" thing.... |

Pictures from Rally Yorkshire in late September: https://bit.ly/3sMrnl8
Two stages: a traditional forest stage in Cropton and then the spectator area at Woodyard in Darby. In a mildly sacrilegeous move, there are no Escorts in this album! As this was a round of the BRC I focused on the modern cars. Enjoy! |

I'd question 'modern cars' though Mk1 Astra, Nova are hardly new (the Astra is older than some mk2 Escorts!) I do have to say though that the Fabia R5 is a very good looking car. Do you have any more events planned for this year? |

Thanks! Yes I picked the 90s as a rough cutoff point. But no doubt some slipped through!
I was at a very rainy Cambrian Rally last weekend. Malton Forest Stages in November and Grizedale Stages in December to come. I really enjoy forest rallies. Early planning for 2023 suggests I’ll be at around a dozen ! |

I suspect a lot of people in British rallying class anything post 1980 as modern. All those events are great to watch on; I always enjoy a day out in the forests. |

Don't know what number we are yet, the seeded entrylist hasn't been published but I expect we'll be middle to bottom half somewhere. Hopefully it's not as cold as some of the other times we've been down there!

We've had to pull our entry James has a chest infection so hasn't been able to get the car ready (and may not be fit for the weekend either given how it's going). I'm still planning on heading down though.

A few shots from a not as cold as it has been Goodwood. Enjoyed the day, walked miles (you couldn't do a full lap as there was a section you couldn't walk around so it was a long out and back walk). Some very smart cars out there - the Skodas are fantastic bits of kit, the 106 was a very tidy looking car too - seemed to handle well through the chicanes. Victory snatched on the last stage by a very quick Escort from the Evo that had lead all day.
