I heard from my fam that this series does provide entertainment. Yes half the stuff is contrived but it is a quick racing product that is fun to watch.

Well looks like the interest here proved why it closed down today. SRX is no more as of today after announcing the 24 season. But Tony is moving on to drag and family and Ray has purchased IROC and supposedly a boat load of old cars. Supposedly they're bringing it back with historic cars, have to assume that's gonna be last gen Firebird cause the Porsches ain't cheap, and doubt any of the Daytona or Avengers actually exist

Pavement races were usually close but not so thrilling.
Dirt races were more fun to watch, but Tony would win them even after self-relegating to the back of the grid. |

IIRC there was (5 or 10 years ago) a dirt late model event with drivers from other series (like NASCAR, Indycars), does this even still exist?
