Article here.
Can't imagine that range would be all that big a problem, except if there's a particularly hektik Bathurst but even then the Taycan's range equates to about half the race distance. If the series has a committed supplier wanting to provide the car, why not? |

Exactly.
There is no problem with Porsche providing them with an EV safety car. Honestly, I don't think Ms Grunberg would care about such low-hanging fruit. |

Does that count having the air conditioning on as well as powering all the fancy flashy flashy lights and radio the car will have to run in it though ??

Presume there will be a Supercharger in the Porsche Carrera Cup paddock to keep the ticket fully charged.
Do the pit lane officials know how to handle these cars? I mean if they run out of squirt, are they able to be pushed out of the way or is there a battery discharge risk? |

If it catches on fire, it will take three days to put it out with their special fire crew. It will be getting charged up with a diesel generator out in the paddock like Formula E. they don't show you the bank of container size diesel gens all roaring away for most of the weekend charging the cars. Very Greeeen.

It'll vary - the Taycan has regenerative braking/charging as well so every corner (or most of them) and coming down the hill will assist in keeping the car charged.

The greening off the world, with a slight whiff of diesel(fossil fuel) wafting through the air!
