This Capri is older and in a different spec but on my list of 10 cars to have is certainly the Zakspeed Ford Capri in Group 5 spec.

This Mk2 Capri is in Grp 1,5 specs and as you suggest in a different league. The Zakspeed machines were silhouette cars, really gorgeous and dam fast. I've no idea of the price but knowing that a 2600 Grp2 makes c 250 k and a 3100 quadcam c 350 k when a Zakspeed shows out it must be sky high. Only 155 road going versions were made (only 200 bhp) and must be pricey too. Anyway, great choice!

Wow. Interesting to see that they've kept with the original 5 door design - one of the other updates (can't remember the company name) remade it as a 3 door. It seems to be an "improve what was already there" type of update rather than trying to change the character of the car completely.

I love that they're throwing shade at the original build quality "The fit and finish of the body panels is night and day compared to the original"

If it ends at 140K $ as predictable, won't say this two door previously damaged version is a bargain. Wheeler Dealer do better for much cheaper.
