Saturday races aren't filmed, other than occasionally at the final meeting of the year where there are championship still to be decided. They normally show footage of the early Sunday races during the lunchbreak and I assume that was the intention. The red flag in the Porsche race meant lunchbreak was severely reduced. There wouldn't have been time to show an earlier race before live track action restarted so they had no option but to pad.
