I also think what has hindered Turkington in the last few seasons is actually his approach of steadily collecting points. 5/6 years ago this worked fine, a weekend of 7th/8th places wasn’t the end of the world when the results fluctuated more round by round. I think since the hybrid has come in being consistently inside the top 10 just doesn’t cut it anymore. You need to be consistently on the podium every weekend or at the very least top 5/6. Current regs reward the drivers who are willing to take more risk or better racecraft IMO. Turkingtons race craft is as good as anyones but he will only use it when absolutey necessary.

I know everyone likes to criticise the tyre stacks, which get removed for the F4 race, but if they had been in place then the drivers wouldn't have tried to go side by side through the chicane and that accident wouldn't have happened.

That's August Raber and Zack Scoular in Saturday's F4 race. From what I remember Richard John Neil and Phil Glew saying, I think Raber injured his hand so couldn't race on Sunday, kudos to Xcel Motorsport for repairing the car overnight though.
