Ford got approval to make changes to the car so it stops falling apart during races:

Mustang duct tape costs twice as much, 4x if it's Porsche, 10x for Ferrari and McLaren but they both didn't work in the rain

Just watching the opening round of the Mustang Challenge series from Mid-Ohio. IMSA radio commentary, and the effects mic seems to be turned up all the way, these cars sound loud!

The leader in the Legends class appears to have had an engine blow with under 5 minutes to go. Losing an engine in the first race of a single make series is not a good look for Ford.

Alot of broken suspensions from contact in the first race. Interesting series. They do sound nice. |

I enjoyed it more than expected too. It is a big deal that the Ford CEO is in the series too! Nobody better make contact with him!

Matt Nicoll-Jones mentioned that Academy would be moving to GT3 next season "somewhere". Should be with a Mustang if i understood the interview correctly.

It would seem like a logical progression for Acadeny to run at least one GT3 car alongside the GT4s. Budget and logistics permitting of course.
