The walk to the circuit wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and it was easy enough to nip out to Lidl in the car on Wednesday morning.

It really busied up by Friday and there was a real party atmosphere - again, I don't mind that (but can see how it might not be for everyone) - we did quite a bit of socialising and through this we got fed very well by our French neighbours on Sunday (always pays off to say hi).

Next time I go I'll bring a better tent with a porch area to keep dry, and maybe a fold up bicycle to get around - but I'd definitely go back to BSJ!
I was in BSJ last year and it was surprisingly good. One neighbour had his bedding stolen but that was about the only issue. My immediate neighbours from Nottingham, played music most of the night but not too loudly. So, I can see why you enjoyed it.

Did they close the fan zone at 4pm like last year?

Next year a new waterproof tent and hopefully a pitch in Houx or TR for me.

We were in Hippodrome for the first time this year. Really not too bad and I'd happily camp in there again. The cut-through into Epinettes meant that, if you pitched up smartly, it really didn't take long to walk through to the Houx Annexe entrance gate.

A few quirks with the parking on the hard-standing and the access was a little bit of an assault course around the horse track. I wouldn't want to drive anything too low and expensive into there. Running up a short, steep bank and over a thin sandpit to get to your pitch was a new experience. But not as bad as it sounds.

Let's see what's on offer next year. Really the most important thing is just to be there.

There were definitely still some punters ordering pizzas from the little stall there by the time we got back from the podium ceremonies so I assume they stayed open a little later into Sunday evening.

BSJ was rammed on Sunday late morning as everybody seemed to be leaving - got stuck for 45 mins in car before finding a way back and walking up - some took ) hours to drive out

Was pretty close to too track this year again - single layer teepee tent pretty wet inside and out at times. Back home Thursday night and still a lot of mud on car to sort
