I counted today, over a dozen Buicks with the fronts destroyed. ALL were definitely rear end caused by the driver, no damage at all to the rear so they couldn't say they were pushed. Every time it made me laugh

They will likely have their one but WTR/AA would add the Ganassi cars. I would not be surprised to see Jota, who's been mentioned for WEC, try for both programs together

Things will be interesting for 2025, that's for sure. MSR is a great choice performance-wise but they'll have to monitor them closely on pressures and other stuff

According to what Chistian Fittipaldi said in his podcast:

Cadillac wanted to renew his contract, but Pipo wanted more money for it.
Cadillac has its own politics of paying all drivers the same amount so there was no possibility of both parties making a deal.

He actually has nowhere to go other than a few LMP2 teams he has been in talks with.
Fittipaldi believes that Pipo will do the LMP2 races next year while preparing for a new GTP program for 2026, possibly with Ganassi.

I think his limit is LMP2, he is not young, though very fit and capable, I see no issue with him saying this, it is what you expect of Ben, honest, utterly open and aware of his limits. I guess maturity has a cost, I only wish some far younger people had the same ability to see the big picture and be aware that they are NOT as good as they think they are.!!

I'd be highly surprised if Jack Aitken is paid the same as Sebastian Bourdais, V/d Zande, Bamber and Derani. You'll never get parity with the various backgrounds and accomplishments imo.

Anyways, Derani will find a top class seat somewhere, be it in IMSA or WEC.

This just seems to be some swapping of teams running the cars. Not sure if the WTR/Andretti program will be 1 car like Ganassi had, or back up to two.

Other potential additions would be another JDC Porsche. And maybe the Aston.

Yeah, I find it surprising too. I believe Ganassi/Hyundai made an offer, Pipo asked AXR/Cadillac if they would cover it, they didn't, so he is moving to the other team.
His role as a development driver would prevent him from doing a full season in 2025, specially with others factory teams, so that is where the selected LMP2 races comes in.

Msr wouldn't have lost Watkins due to inability to heat tires on the restart..
