LMP3 teams might have to work tad more in the VP races with GTD cars there. But they will still out pace them.
VIR pole times GTD Pro 1:43.2 GTD Am 1:43.9 LMP3 1:41.2 GS 1:53.1 Corvette C8R in GTLM spec in 2021 ran 1:40.2 |

Well we will have at least one yellow LMP2 car for WeatherTech next season
Inter Eurpol confirms they're in for 2025 in LMP2 So that's 3 with the 2 United as well. https://sportscar365.com/imsa/iwsc/i...ne-lmp2-entry/ Full entry list to be released at Indy or Petit for 2025? |

Think Penske has another year in the deal for the 963s as well, for some reason a 3 year deal stuck in my head for 23-25 but maybe I'm wrong
All I can find is multi year statement but feels like it's not going anywhere in either IMSA or WEC |

So will Ganassi leave IMSA, or do they have a backup plan?

Sounds like we may lose Proton for the full season and only be enduros.
https://sportscar365.com/lemans/wec/...-963-for-2025/ And like the Mustang announcement, the no, really, how surprising announcement, Vettes will run 2 in Pro but no driver announcement yet https://sportscar365.com/imsa/iwsc/c...pro-next-year/ |

One of the RLL BMW drivers expected to go to MSR for 25
**Sportscar365 understands there will be at least one change in Team RLL’s driver lineup next year, with one of its existing drivers poised to join Meyer Shank Racing’s Acura ARX-06 operation. Driver announcements from the Ohio-based team are not expected to be made until after the completion of the season. |

Flurry of entry announcements, expecting the full list to be revealed next Friday before the race. Will we beat last year's record 48 car full season entry? I think so! I betcha the number starts with a 5.

To be fair Miller's team has been doing a stellar job recently, first time in Pro and very quick, would also not shock me if they end up replacing RLL in the long term, but I doubt they are big enough. Think Indy might also swing it!!

Confirmed GTP though so net positive I would say. Hopefully not two lost GTD Pros though with them out and maybe Pfaff out or back to GTD

It's felt like pro has been a tougher and tougher ask. It doesn't feel like the factories are overly willing to put resources behind a legitimate entry with both drivers and team. They're all happy to place a driver, but it seems the last time we had multiple factories playing in GT as the factory was the 2016ish era with Corvette, BMW, Ford, and Porsche.
Who freaking ate that bat in 2019!? |
