Supposedly that's the organization that was set up to go after joining F1 and 2 years old now.

Feels as much like Mikey you didn't finish the job for us getting in to F1 so I'm taking over now kinda situation going on there

It's good to see the Series have another go at a race in Texas. If this one is going to be better than Houston's Reliant Park, it's going to be alright.
I would have preferred a permanent racetrack, though, because that you don't have to build anew every year, and is likely to last longer if successful.
But maybe, a street race in Dallas can get them back into TMS over time. It's happened elsewhere before, in this past season.

I think the ending of this season proves we don't need TMS

Not enough people came, the racing was too dangerous and foot to the floor, high downforce skilless IRL pack racing, and Gateway, Nashville and especially Milwaukee prove Indycar's oval future lie on the short to mid distance tracks and not ones that will tear their banking up or slather themselves in weird compounds in the hope of getting NASCAR to like them more and not give a damn how Indycar runs there.

More short ovals, no more banked superspeedways!

Yeah, the cars don't have the power to out drive downforce AND there's little willingness to change it cause the engineers have a book. And the stickum didn't help working with Cup tires and not Indy rubber.

And while Indy is enjoyable something just felt different at Texas. Yes the CART races probably played in to it in my mind but it just wasn't really an enjoyable race waiting for the big wreck like plate racing in Cup. Rather they pushed for Richmond on a Saturday night than TMS.

Sounded like it did until they came with a deal that worked for COTA. Think Nascar coming helps with profits too. Wonder why they ended up there at COTA for WEC instead of other tracks but they want G1 tracks and all those amenities

Races at Texas were sometimes thrilling, sometimes boring, and sometimes excessively dangerous. It depended on the aero package and later the dreaded PJ1 track surface.
