I admit that it's wishful thinking, but maybe when the grid is oversubscribed, manufacturers put their foot down on these types of pointless changes? It was there testing for 2 days alongside a few hypercars running the new led position panels. Can't find any videos though.

I read on an X post that GT3 in WEC for 2025 will be switching from orange to green number panels. I think that is a great move!

Total rubbish. I can’t believe they are doing that. They should be orange. Is it a pro class? No. So not green. Why they never made them paint the wing mirrors orange too I’ll never know. If they can’t be orange tor whatever reason then pink. Obviously. Typical ACO. I’m not watching. Anyone want to buy a television?

It's mostly useful from a TV graphics/live timing point of view. Red and orange are too similar.

Aren't GTD (non pro) cars in IMSA using the green? Makes sense, much easier to tell apart from from red than orange.... unless you're color blind.
