Leclerc drove a faultless race, took advantage of Norris and Verstappen fighting each other at the start and never looked back.

That ‘pole but not leading the first lap’ thing came up again…

Qualifying is a circus.
Limited time, barely enough to make two good flying lap attempts. Track limits can take away a perfect lap like Verstappen's second attempt. Norris only had pole because of Russell's crash! F1 is a circus but the FIA rulings and penalties is making it a clown show. Particularly Norris' five second penalty. And stewards who can never be cha;;enged on such a decision through an appeal? It's a joke. |

Nothing wrong with qualifying, but we need less tarmac runoff to get rid of the track limits argument. It doesn't matter who's on pole.
I agree the whole track limits argument is getting stupid now. Don't blame the drivers for going off when it's so easy to do it and get away without damage |

Lawson and Colapinto where the standout for this in my mind. Norris drove well, Verstappen did his usual ruthless kill or be killed as he knows he can get away with it so hats off to him. Leclerc and Sainz did well. Good work by Russel as well. As per usual Perez is a lame duck. Now that we've gotten rid of Danny, get we get rid of Sergio as well, please?
If I have to choose one I'd say Colapinto, as I remember seeing more of him. |

George Russell. Climbed from dead last to 6th. OK, the grid position was his own doing but it was still impressive.
