Internal combustion requires some fuel. Dont run too lean, Alan, be safe.

Bon Chance, Alan!

Good!

So hopefully I'll get to see you race at least once more. Don't know where - Spa's a bit of a challenge for me now, with all those hills...

Hoping full recovery is swift Alan.

Supercharger malfunction or a turbo problem?

I trust it's not a dropped valve.

Wishing you a Tail Gale all the way home, Alan, and a decent sprint to finish it off. Do you wear black shorts when riding? Grant was wondering

Indeed, but I don't recall any time when they were shiny and (probably) plastic. (i.e. plastic other than Lycra or similar.)

Oh! Grant. such an innocent. What sheltered existence you must have had.
Never heard of plastic undies?.... Hang on! What has this to do with Historic racing?

Er, when is the next Revival, anyone buying a 1970 Brabham .... what gear ratios would you need for 61 Lotus round Spa ...... in the wet .......
When did Iain say would retire?

Just how old is John whatsisname in France?

Signing off now.

B.

Now look. I don't get on here that much at weekends, but here I am at silly o'clock before I leave for work and my Tapatalk opens up on *that* photo! Fair put me off my Wheetybang. Thanks guys, I now have to drive with that image seared across my brain.

Alan I hope you're soon tackling those hills with renewed vigour! (Or is it a nude vicar?)

Yes , sorry about it all . I did say " winter draws on " thinking that might get Bauble going .And his sense of humour kicked in .
Mind you , what he is doing with dodgy pictures of men in kinky shorts I do not know .
But have a nice day everyone .

Sorry about that, Midge, perhaps this might alleviate the symptoms.

Alan Morgan should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Thanks for all the good wishes guys! I've only just seen all this! Sadly I'm not allowed on a bike for another 5 weeks and then it will only be indoors. Three months before I can head out on the road (January - nice...).

Without boring you with too much detail, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer earlier this year and had my prostate removed a week before Iain took that pic. The op was done robotically and I was allowed home the same day. If everything has gone according to plan the op means I should be cured - I'll find out for sure in December.

Anyway - thanks again!
