One Raceway new beginnings
Very watchable racing from One Raceway this weekend of the races I had time to watch.
Steve Shelley and team have done what appears to be an outstanding job on the 2.3km clockwise circuit. Commentator for some races was Jamie McCarthy who has a commentating career going back years. The TA2s as the lead category? well supported by the ADC/ Hyper Racer X-1s, Legends, Formula Vee, (missed the RX8's and Aus Stock cars) Claims that there will be more X-1s on the grid next year. ---------------- Watched some of Saturday's racing from Calder Park Raceway. Excels good racing (Emily Jones & Tabitha Ambrose on the grid), wonder how much time the category has left (parts etc) Improved Production, Formula Vees and Saloon Cars. |

Certainly not defending Benalla Auto Club (immediate past owners) and yes they did have their eye off the ball. The club has been in a shambles since Mick Ronke died and a past President did everything in his power to get rid of Micks 2 sons. One was managing Wakefield Park the other Winton (yep I know - nepotism) but the places were running fine and Matt would have certainly been more than willing to work with Goulburn Council. But Mr Robertson and others did their very best to get all the Ronkes out of the business and the club (and its entities) and it has been a sh!t show ever since, they can't hold management. The BAC committee is in a bit of a shambles is what I am hearing through the grapevine
and they wonder why they lost the Supercars People reap what they sow Good luck and good work to the new owners |
